Guide the visitor through the page in an order which makes sense. Make the parts which you want them to notice stand out, and use a well-thought-out colour scheme to attract attention to the right parts of the page at the right time.
That being said, people will often have a certain purpose in mind when they go onto your website, and they will want to be able to find what they’re looking for. Make sure the site is intuitive, and there are plenty of signposts to point visitors in the right direction. This will all contribute to a positive user experience, which is key in the success of your website.
